Ebony Hodges provides workforce advisement, job preparation opportunities and career counseling services for Skilled KC students. She assists students in selecting their educational and career goals and enrolls students in Skilled KC programs. Hodges also develops and maintains relationships with employers for the purpose of job leads and job placement of students and graduates in their respective fields.
Prior to joining Skilled KC, she worked at KC Degrees as a College Success Coach, assisting students with career and education pathway services. She served as a liaison for students and community partners, helping underrepresented adults obtain higher education credentials and give them the advantage needed to earn an above average wage. Hodges also served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard where she held many roles: President of the Junior Enlisted Council, MDG Morale Committee Coordinator, and Public Health Technician.
Hodges has received a Career and Education Advising Certification through CAEL/ Indiana University; Mentoring for Results Instructor Certification through the Center for Creative Leadership; Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Metropolitan Community College; Associates degree in Public Health from Community College of the Air Force.
