Brooke Callahan is the Human Resources Generalist for Skilled KC Technical Institute. She helps run the daily functions of the Human Resources Department including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, culture, as well as implementing policies & procedures.
Prior to joining Skilled KC, Brooke worked as an Executive Recruiter and Human Resources Consultant where she served as the Human Resources subject matter expert for businesses throughout Kanas City. Brooke has over 15 years of experience in HR with an emphasis in recruitment strategy design, full-life cycle recruiting for executive level candidates, employee relations, performance management, career development, onboarding, employee engagement, as well as creating and executing critical Human Resources policies. She is skilled at balancing the needs of the organization with the strengths of the employees. Brooke has spent time working in multiple types of industries, which include: Higher Education, Information Technology, Nonprofit, Finance, Electrical and Energy Services, Healthcare, and Manufacturing
Brooke is currently pursuing her SPHR. She holds several certifications, including Predictive Index Certified Practitioner, SHRM Veterans at Work, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant.
